1ST OF THE MONTH CONTEST WINNER EMAIL

As you know, we started the "1st of the month contest" on Feb. 1st and J.L. Heath from Laramie, WY was our winner. We mailed her our variety pack of "The Best Sauces You'll Ever Taste". Our next contest will be obviously March 1st, 2009 at TheBestSauces.com

J.L. Heath was kind enough to write us back with an update on the sauces. here is the email:

Hi Jack!

Well, while the weather would not let us fire up the grill this week, we have still been enjoying your BBQ sauce! This weekend, we made a Chicken BBQ Pizza, which is a Boboli pizza crust slathered with your BBQ sauce, then diced chicken, bacon, diced onions & tomatoes, and sprinkled with heaps of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and cooked to bubbling. The results were divine!

I don't know if you have ever thought about hooking up with a pizza franchise to get them to use this sauce for BBQ pizzas, but it's just perfect. It's thick so it's not running everywhere, and when it cooks the sugar caramelizes a little holding everything together and it really tastes fantastic-- just the right sweet to spice ratio, and I've never used anything better for this pizza recipe.

Then last night we made twice baked potatoes and for the filling- mashed the potato innards with your BBQ sauce, a spot of butter, diced onion, bacon and provalone cheese...re-piped it back into the potato jacket and sprinkled with cheddar and baked. MMM!

Anyhow, when we won this at the beginning of the month, you asked me to write and let you know how we used it and liked it, so I thought I would drop a line. We can't wait to try it straight up on meat, but are having fun with it in other ways, too. Do you sell this in stores in the CO or WY area? Please let me know.
