I am asking for everyone's help on this.
My friend, Maurice Larimer has been chosen in the "Top Chef" Quaker Oats Viewer Quickfire Challenge. He needs people to vote for his recipe.
Ironically he is the only man in the competition. He made the top 10. He is asking for you to vote for him and then pass the word on. I am asking you to please take a minute and vote for his recipe. It would mean a lot to me.
His name is: Maurice, L. from Red Bluff, CA
Recipe name is: Oatmeal/Macadamia Crusted Pork Tenderloin with a Coconut Chipotle Sauce & Grilled Caramelized Pineapple Relish
here is the link to the Quaker Oats Viewer Quickfire Challenge voting: http://quickfire.bravotv.com/quickfire/viewall.php
PLEASE VOTE AND PASS THIS ON.
UPDATE: 3/10/09
CHEATER, CHEATER, CHEATER!
It's been discovered that the Banana Drop Doughnuts recipe (currently voted #1) that my friend is up against is a stolen recipe. It seems that that recipe is from the Food Network Ultimate Recipe Showdown and was originally done by Jenny Flake.
here is the link to the stolen version. Position #1: Click Here
here is the link to the original recipe: Click Here
It's sad that people have to cheat to make a name for themselves. it wouldn't be the first time.
